about this year's donation drive:

help of southern nevada

This year, I'm holding a Donation Drive, with their permission, for HELP of Southern Nevada. The donations would go to both their diaper bank and the Shannon West Homeless Youth Center*.

Why HELP of Southern Nevada? Great question!

I did volunteer work in their kitchen these past few months, and I learned that their funding had been reduced significantly, leading to a shortage of certain services they offer. I had taken a quick liking to the residents of Shannon West: everyone is super friendly, staff and youthful residents alike, everyone finishes their food, they tidy up after themselves, and the facility, overall, is very well kept.

Learning about their funding was very heartbreaking to hear, seeing that there were so many young faces at the facility who still had dreams, aspirations, and many wanted to make their mark in the world and contribute to society in their own way.

Last year, together, we helped raise 343 Lbs of food for Three Square Food Bank, and this year, I know we can make an even bigger difference, together.

I hope that we can make a difference in someone's life together and show the world that despite so much going on, there is still good in humanity.
